Stuart Highway north of Alice Springs to receive much needed upgrade

True North has been engaged by Black Cat Civil and the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics to deliver community and stakeholder communication and engagement on the Stuart Highway north of Alice Springs road upgrade.

Works to upgrade the Stuart Highway from the Motor Vehicle Registry to Herbert Heritage Drive intersection commenced in late 2018.

The upgrade will see a duplication of this important and busy stretch of the highway to increase capacity, improve flood immunity and maintain a safe and efficient transport corridor.

The works will include traffic management, delays and night works, and True North will be on hand to support stakeholders, local businesses, neighbours and the community during the project to minimise disruption.

True North is acting the single point of contact for the project, and you can reach us on 1800 370 798 or feedback@truenorthcomm.com.au.

We are pleased to support the department in its delivery of this project which will allow for increased capacity along one of Australia’s major highways, better connecting the north to the south.
